Support for 10-bit, D-Log M, and HLG Color Modes: These modes can capture more highlight and shadow details, with over a billion colors, ensuring your footage stands up to rigorous post-production and provides more flexibility for professional, stylized creations. Additionally, Osmo Action 5 Pro’s front and rear touchscreens can provide a color-recovered preview of the D-Log M footage, allowing you to precisely control color and brightness to ensure top-quality raw footage.

3. Dual OLED High-Brightness Touchscreens: Both the front and rear screens have been upgraded to OLED high-brightness touchscreens, delivering high contrast and vibrant colors. The rear screen now boasts an impressive peak brightness of 1000 cd/㎡, facilitating easier daytime shooting. Moreover, the screens are larger with extremely narrow bezels. Despite retaining the same camera body size, the screen-to-body ratio has been increased by 16%, enhancing the overall user experience.

Enhanced Performance and User Experience: Osmo Action 5 Pro boasts upgraded battery performance to deliver up to 240 minutes of operating time, ushering in the era of 4-hour extended battery life for action cameras. It supports Subject Tracking mode, which intelligently detects the subject’s position and dynamically adjusts the composition to keep the subject centered in every frame, even without a gimbal. Featuring a new built-in pressure gauge, Action 5 Pro records and displays real-time water depth and altitude, and automatically starts recording when entering the water and stops recording when exiting the water. It also supports Wi-Fi 6.0 and USB 3.0 high-speed transfers, ^[7] with wireless transfer speeds up to 80 MB/s, ^[8] significantly improving the photo/video transfer experience.

The Adventure Combo includes two additional Extreme Batteries Plus and one 1.5m Extension Rod, providing you with ample power for extended outdoor shooting and allowing for multi-angle selfies during activities like skiing, snowboarding, or more.

Osmo Action 5 Pro uses RockSteady 3.0 technology to stabilize footage. This Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) technology is realized by increasing the shutter speed, analyzing the images captured by the CMOS sensor, and compensating by cutting off the edges of these images. In this way, multiple frames are overlaid and finally combined into a single frame that is sharp, clear, and accurately exposed.

HorizonSteady uses DJI’s latest stabilization algorithm to correct shakes for any horizontal rotation (360°) and lock onto a leveled horizon in every frame, regardless of how the camera is mounted or worn. It allows you to capture smooth and stable footage whether you are cycling on bumpy roads or go-karting around a track.

SuperNight mode supports shooting at 1080p (16:9)@24/25/30/48/50/60fps, 2.7K (16:9)@24/25/30/48/50/60fps, and 4K (16:9)@24/25/30/48/50/60fps. You can enable RockSteady 3.0 or RockSteady 3.0+, and choose between standard or wide FOV. It is recommended to use this mode in darker urban night scenes. For city nights with basic lighting, standard video mode will suffice.

Yes. However, Subject Tracking mode and SuperNight mode are only functional when the camera is equipped with a battery. Other modes can be used without a battery, as long as the camera is connected to a power source via a Type-C cable.
